Parking Fees & Time Limits
On-Street Parking Meters
1 hour meters – $2.50 per hour, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm and Saturday 8.30am to 2pm
4 hour meters – $2.00 per hour, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm and Saturday 8.30am to 2pm
Please note that vehicles must be moved after the signed time limit (i.e.: 1 or 4 hour limit).
Car Parks
Parking must be paid at the time of parking using the meter (coins or credit card) or via Pay by Phone apps, including EasyPark or PayStay
- $2.00 per hour, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm and Saturday 8.30am to 2pm
- A 3 hour time limit applies to parking in the Formby Road and Edward Street car parks
- All day parking is available in the Fourways, Wenvoe Street, Fenton Way, Steele Street and Payne Avenue car parks
- Parking must be paid at the meter at the time of parking or through the Pay by Phone app or phone number.
- Pay by phone parking (EasyPark) is available in all Council car parks.
Market Square Car Park
- 30 minutes free parking every day
- Monday to Friday:
- 8:30am until 6pm: $1.10 per 30 minutes
- 6:00 PM to 8:30 AM (Night Rate): Fixed rate of $2, valid until 8:30 AM
- $6.00 All-Day Rooftop Parking – 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Weekdays)
- Location: Rooftop level of the car park only.
- Easypark code 81245 or pay at the meter on the roof level before returning to your car.
- Saturday and Sunday: Fixed rate of $2, valid until midnight
