Light up the paranaple convention centre

Devonport City Council shines a light on causes affecting families in our community by illuminating the paranaple convention centre in bright, bold colours.  

Bookings are accepted from charitable and non-profit organisations promoting significant events or public awareness campaigns that are: 

• Recognised nationally or internationally,  
• Beneficial to the Devonport community, and 
• Significant sporting, cultural, community or tourism-related Devonport events.  

If you are unsure whether your event or awareness campaign is eligible, please contact the Functions team on 03 6420 2950.

Booking details: 

• Light up requests must begin/end on a business day, and may be booked for one night or a maximum of seven nights.  
• The paranaple convention centre can display up to two colours at a time (the 3rd floor of the paranaple centre). 
• Lighting up of the convention centre can only occur once all functions have finished for the evening (some events may be midnight).
• Bookings are on a first come, first served basis. 
• Council has the discretion to accept, amend or decline applications.  
• Applicants will be notified via their nominated contact email.
